TAHAMTAN AI ("we", "us", "our") operates tahamtan.ai. For the purposes of UK data-protection law, we are the data controller for personal data processed through the Service. Contact: legal@tahamtan.ai.
To provide the Service, we store your generated videos and related data on secure third-party cloud storage so that you can view, download, edit, and (if you choose) share them. Video links may expire after a period; videos you have chosen to share to the Community are stored so they can be displayed publicly. This storage is necessary to operate the features you use.
We do not use your prompts, uploads, or generated videos to train, fine-tune, or develop any AI model. Video generation is performed using third-party AI providers solely to produce your output; we do not authorise them to retain your content to train their models beyond what is necessary to deliver the result, to the extent within our control.
We process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request); consent (for example, when you choose to share a video publicly, or agree to the Community notice before creating a free video); legitimate interests (to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and operate our business); and legal obligation (to comply with the law and respond to valid legal requests).
We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service, under appropriate safeguards. These include, for example: cloud hosting and storage, our AI video-generation provider, database and authentication providers, email delivery, and payment processors. We do not sell your personal data to anyone. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers as required by law.
If you choose to share a video to the Community or Explore feed, it and its associated prompt may be visible to other users and to the public. Do not include private, sensitive, or personal information in content you choose to make public.
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business and legal purposes. Generated videos may be removed after link expiry or on your request; public Community content remains until removed by us or our staff. We may retain limited records (such as payment and abuse-prevention records) for longer where required.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email legal@tahamtan.ai. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
You can delete your own private videos in the "My Videos" section. To delete your account or request removal of your personal data, email legal@tahamtan.ai. Note that deleting a private copy does not automatically remove a video you have chosen to publish to the Community; to request removal of public content, use the reporting feature or contact us.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact legal@tahamtan.ai and we will delete it.
We use cookies and similar local-storage technologies as needed to operate the Service (for example, to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and enforce fair-use limits). You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new date and, where changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify you.
